Over a two-hour period, we sent multiple up/down monitoring alerts. This was caused by two newly deployed proxies that were misconfigured. The configuration has now been corrected, and we have updated our internal procedures for future proxy deployments.

We apologize for the inconvenience. We will also review options to enforce a hard limit on the total number of emails sent to each address to help prevent this from happening again.
